House of Hope - Donation of Chiller

Bicycle Project Ban Baroei School Thailand



















On the 23rd October 2010, our club together with sister club RC Hatyai Nakarin D3330 presented a total 31 bicycles to a school in Ban Baroei near the Thai-Malaysian border. The bicycles are to be loaned to the students till they leave for higher education in another school and the bicycles will be refurbish to be loaned to new students. Some students have to walk a few kilometers to school. The bicycle is equipped with a carrier to take a passenger.
Pictures shows the happy faces of the school children with the brand new bicycles. Presidents of both clubs handing over to the Principal and representatives of the Ban Baroei Border School.

New Members Induction 2010
















New members were inducted by DG Lim Kok Beng during his official visit to the club on 18th November 2010. Rotarians Kelvan Lim and Mairead Gillespie were inducted. PP AG James H Low and Rtn. Andy King were the Rotarians who invited them to Rotary.

Visit to RC Ellon Scotland. Famous for whisky and beautiful unspoilt countryside.
Also visited whisky distilleries, castles, motor museums and the Famous Gordon Highlanders war museum. Had great fellowship with the club.
